Michael Mooleedhar, a Trinidadian filmmaker, is renowned for his captivating storytelling and impactful films. He holds a master’s degree from the London Film School and the University of Exeter, along with a BA in Film Production from UWI. Mooleedhar made a significant impact in 2008 with his documentary Queens of Curepe, shedding light on marginalized communities.

In 2017, Mooleedhar garnered recognition for his feature film Green Days by the River, adapted from Michael Anthony’s novel. The film received acclaim, showcasing Mooleedhar's talent in bringing narratives to life on screen. His work has been showcased at prestigious festivals like the Caribbean Tales International Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival in LA, Fribourg Film Festival in Switzerland and the Valetta Film Festival, solidifying his reputation as a respected figure in the world of cinema. Mooleedhar's authentic storytelling continues to inspire audiences, reflecting his commitment to pushing boundaries and creating impactful cinematic experiences.

Additionally, Mooleedhar has directed notable music videos, including “Dingolay” by Mical Teja, and collaborated with international brands on commercials, further showcasing his versatility and expertise in visual storytelling across different mediums.
