Poet Vladimir Lucien looks at the great mystery of poetry, demonstrating the ways in which meaning is created by an interaction between words and other hidden elements of the poetic art.

Vladimir Lucien won the prestigious 2015 OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature for his debut poetry collection Sounding Ground. He lives and works in St Lucia.
