AN INTRODUCTION TO SPECULATIVE FICTION, with Karen Lord

Multi-award winning author Karen Lord introduces writers to one of the most popular genres of our time. This workshop is for all prose writers keen to experiment and master the specific challenges of writing alternative histories and worlds, sci-fi, fantasy, dystopia, and post-apocalyptic narratives.

POETRY IN PROGRESS, with Tanya Shirley

An introductory workshop to help poets unlock their imagination and progress their work. Jamaican poet Tanya Shirley’s debut collection, She Who Sleeps With Bones was a Jamaican bestseller. Her work is published in several journals and anthologies. She currently teaches in the Department of Literatures in English, UWI, Jamaica.
