The Ambassadors of Panama and Chile, and Professor Emerita Barbara Lalla, discuss the Panama Canal and its effect on the people, geography, politics  and economics of the region. Followed by the screening of Historias del canal.

The Panama Canal changed the history of Panama and the entire world.  Through the lens of 5 directors, we travel across a century of dramatic stories of 5 remarkable lives influenced by the building of the Canal. Script based on the recovery of a true story preserved by oral tradition.
