Interactive Reading: My Land – Adventures around Trinidad and Tobago

Using the power of play, My Land guides parents, teachers, and children on adventures through Trinidad and Tobago’s colourful history and contemporary life. Children will visit the pan yard and the zoo, learn how to conduct business using play money, and celebrate traditional mas. This book has already been a useful teaching aid in schools across the country. Founded by a passionate Trinidadian parent, the book’s teaching tools are designed to foster a sense of cultural pride, creativity, and critical thinking in children. In addition to all this, My Land adheres to the serious rigours of the Primary School curriculum. Each chapter draws on at least one of the nine core subject areas including English Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Citizenship Education.
