Biography
Breanne McIvor is a Trinidadian author who co-founded People’s Republic of Writing (PROW), a group created out of the belief that writing belongs to everyone. In 2015, her story “Kristoff and Bonnie” won The Caribbean Writer’s David Hough Literary Prize. Her work has appeared in Commonwealth Writers’ adda, Origami Journal, Akashic Books’ Duppy Thursdays series, and elsewhere. Her debut collection of short stories, Here There Are Monsters, is published by Peepal Tree Press.
