Biography

Trinidadian-born writer Ingrid Persaud’s first novel If I Never Went Home was published in 2013. In 2017, her first short story The Sweet Sop was the overall winner of the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, and winner of the 2018 BBC national short story award.
