Biography
Joan Osborne is better known as Auntie Queenie. Joan is a librarian, actress, storyteller and lecturer. She is a recent retiree from the National Library and Information System Authority after thirty four years of service, serving in several positions such as Deputy Executive Director and Director of the Heritage Library of NALIS. Joan was a guest at the Miami Dade Public Library Storytelling Festival for two years running and at the Commonwealth Peoples Festival in Brisbane Australia. Apart from performances, Joan conducts storytelling workshops and has judged many storytelling competitions. She also judges the Best Village, Village Chat, Short story and Poetry competitions.
