Biography
Lisa Allen-Agostini is a writer and editor from Trinidad and Tobago. She is the author of the YA novels Home Home (Papillote Press, 2018; Delacourte Press, 2020), a finalist for the CODE Burt Award for Caribbean YA Literature, and The Chalice Project (Macmillan Caribbean, 2008), and the collection of poems Swallowing the Sky (Cane Arrow Press, 2015). She co-edited the short fiction collection Trinidad Noir (Akashic Books, 2008), and voiced the audible.com audiobook version of her story in the collection “Pot Luck”. A journalist, she has worked for all three Trinidad and Tobago national newspapers. She has been awarded as a journalist, fiction writer and poet and her work is widely published.
