Kenneth Suratt

Kenneth Suratt is the Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association and a prominent advocate for the visually impaired. Over the years he has been part of the team that won the legal case establishing the Equal Opportunity Commission, advocated for the amendment to the Copyright Act that makes printed materials accessible for the print-disabled, and for the adoption of polymer currency with tactile features. He is also a musician and composer and leader of Visionary Sound, T&T’s first band featuring only blind musicians.
