Bocas Lit Fest and COSTAATT sign Historic MOU

After months of intensive negotiation and collaboration, The Bocas Lit Fest (BLF), the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT), and the Ken Gordon School of Communication, Creative and Digital Media have officially formalized a ground-breaking partnership.

This MOU falls within the Bocas Lit Fest’s mission of helping to promote new voices. As a multi-faceted arts organisation, BLF is able to provide a platform for COSTAATT students to apply what they learn at our various festivals, workshops, etc.

Jennifer Rahim’s final novel to be launched at UWI

Goodbye Bay, the final and posthumously published novel by celebrated T&T author Jennifer Rahim, will be officially launched by the NGC Bocas Lit Fest, in partnership with the Faculty of Humanities and Education and the Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies of The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

The special event, starting at 5 pm on Saturday 13 January, will be hosted at The UWI’s School of Education Auditorium on Agostini Street, St. Augustine. Free and open to the public, the launch will include readings from Goodbye Bay, music, and an introduction to the novel by novelist and academic Barbara Lalla, Professor Emerita at The UWI.

Anansi and the Fire Ants Wins Bocas Children’s Book Prize
