My initial passion for spoken word began when i was nine years old when the 2cents movement visited my primary school. The idea of spoken word was completely foreign to me. However, i loved performing from a very young age so the presentation did peek my interest and the rest is history. Spoken word was my venture from other forums like dance and singing and something i gradually improved at with time. I did ballet for about 5 years, sang representing my primary school at Presbyfest, dabbled in extempo placing as the runner up nationally in 2020 and performed a musical over 2 weeks with the Native Caribbean Foundation in 2023. I've written spoken words for mainly events and presentations but now I'm using my talent to compete at higher levels.
