Alisa Gomez grew up on the North Coast of Trinidad and was involved in environmental education for over a decade. She is a life-long reader who has passed on a love of reading to her son, reading children’s literature to him and building his library. Combining these elements, she is crafting stories to bring the tropical ecosystem to life for young people. To date, she has created and self-published two children’s stories that feature the wildlife of Trinidad’s forests.
