Annalee Davis



Annalee Davis is a Visual Artist who works with post-plantation economies and engages with the land where she lives. Her solo exhibition, ‘This Ground Beneath My Feet – A Chorus of Bush in Rab Lands’ was curated by Holly Bynoe and shown at the Idea Lab, the Warfield Center in Austin, Texas. The catalogue was designed by Kriston Chen: Her article ‘Sweeping Fields where History still Groans | Making Space for Wild Plants’ has just been released in the Bangalore based e-publication, Forager Magazine, 2017: She was recently part of a conversation at the SVA Curatorial Practice MA Programme in NY with Erica James and Mario Caro about Fresh Milk – the artist-led initiative she founded in 2011. Annalee is the Caribbean Arts Manager for the British Council, on the board of ARC Magazine and a co-founder of Caribbean Linked and Tilting Axis.
