Audrey Brown A South African London-based broadcast journalist working with the BBC World Service flagship programmes Newshour and Focus on Africa. She has a background in progressive anti-apartheid newspaper journalism in the 1980s and in film criticism and documentary filmmaking. A former curator at The Women’s Gaol at Constitution Hill – the home of the highest court in South Africa, her radio documentary work focuses on the lives of people in Africa and the diaspora.
