Basil Reid

Dr. Basil Reid is a Senior Lecturer in Archaeology, Department of History, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. He is the author of Myths and Realities of Caribbean History, editor of Caribbean Heritage and Archaeology and Geoinformatics: Case Studies from the Caribbean and co-editor of Encyclopedia of Caribbean Archaeology.  Between July 1, 2013 and January 31, 2015, Dr. Reid was the Lead Archaeologist of the Red House Archaeological Project in the Office of the Parliament of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
