Beverley-Ann Scott

Beverley-Ann Scott is a medical doctor and author of the novels The Stolen Cascadura (2007), Is America She Gone? (2013) and The Lotus Blooms At Night (2020). She migrated from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States in 2014. Her novels deal with issues such as HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, class and gender inequality, homosexuality, crime, violence, and drug abuse. She aims to create a repository of literary works that will engage Caribbean people everywhere in discussions that will help to unify them and allow them to appreciate their uniqueness.
