Deborah Lee Matthews

Deborah Lee Matthews has been a cultural worker in the field of theatre in T&T for almost twenty years. A current postgraduate student in Cultural Studies at UWI, St. Augustine, she uses creative expression as a tool to cultivate conversations about lived experiences, community building, active resistance and kinaesthetic memory. She is shortlisted for the 2023 Commonwealth Short Story Prize.
