Dex Gomez

Dex Gomez was raised by his grandparents in what many would consider the “ghetto” of East Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago but was determined to not become a product of his environment.  From a young age, Dex considered himself an observer and admired the selflessness of his grandparents which definitely helped shape his perspective on life & love. He has had his fair share of disappointments in friendships, heartbreaks in relationships, self-esteem issues and tragedies in life. He was the primary caregiver for both his grandfather and mother before their deaths, 3 years apart.  Dex hopes that through these stories, his experiences and life lessons can inspire the lives of those in similar circumstances.
