Kevan Calliste is the only person to win the Junior Extempo Monarch three times consecutively, in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He also made it to the Junior Calypso Monarch finals on numerous occasions. He has a special love also for the steelpan and is currently one of the arrangers for Panosonic Steel Orchestra.
