Mrs. Khadene Mathison is a dedicated Sixth Form teacher of Caribbean Studies and Communication Studies at Bishop Anstey and Trinity College East Sixth Form, Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in Education, a Master’s degree in Marketing, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education specializing in English. She also serves as a CAPE Caribbean Studies Marker.
She is a graduate of the Global Inclusive Teaching Initiative, an international programme supported by UNESCO that promotes classroom differentiation and inclusivity.
With ten years of teaching experience, Mrs. Mathison has developed a strong passion for student development and leadership. Central to her philosophy is the integration of soft skills and game-based learning, which she believes makes the teaching and learning process more fun, engaging, and meaningful for students. This approach not only enhances participation but also fosters emotional intelligence, confidence, and responsible decision-making.
