Selena Mohammed

Selena Mohammed is a seventeen year old student of Providence Girls’ Catholic Secondary School who aspires to be a doctor.  Although involved in the many things that she loves, she is always drawn to  poetry.  She believes that there is no right or wrong way of poetry, as it exists everywhere and in everything if one looks hard enough. To her, poetry is the admiration, appreciation and understanding of any being. When it comes to writing, her goal is to always find the soul in everything, even when there seems to be none. Her life quote is, “Either I win or I learn. If I give up, I lose”.
