Zaheed Collette is a 10-year-old young author from Tobago and a student of Lambeau Anglican Primary School. His love for adventure, storytelling and creativity inspired him to write his first book, Who Found the Hidden Trail?
Zaheed’s inspiration began in Standard 2, after a school field trip introduced him to the world of news reporting, writing and editing. What started as a school project grew into a published book featuring adventure, friendship and characters inspired by people and animals close to him. Zaheed is also passionate about sports and enjoys using his imagination to create stories that encourage other children to read, dream and explore their creativity.
As a young Tobagonian author, Zaheed hopes to inspire other children to pick up a pen, tell their stories and believe that their ideas can become something real.
