Over and Over

Joella Khan, age 13Over and Over
Only in my house…
Only in my room…

Nowhere else to be found,

The imaginary thoughts of my own

Over and Over it played, til I got bored,

Everyday I would let it out like I deserved an award.

I sit down and think how stupid I must be,

Talking to myself and dancing like a bee.

Calm down! I say and so, I would complain.

But the next day over and over, it would happen again.

Stop! Stop! Stop!, it would play in my head,

Did I listen, No!, I just danced instead.

Over and Over, Over and Over it began to ring in my head,

Until one day, One day!, they found my body dead.
