The 2015 OCM Bocas Prize Opens
The OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature is a major award for literary books by Caribbean writers. Books may be entered in three categories: poetry, fiction, and literary non-fiction. The prize includes an award of US$10,000, sponsored by One Caribbean Media. This year there will also be cash awards for the other category winners.
The submission deadline for books published between 1 January and 31 October, 2014, is 10 November, 2014. The deadline for books published between 1 November and 31 December, 2013, is 9 January, 2015.
