A special Friday night session celebrating the legacy of Vincentian musician and poet “Shake” Keane, featuring biographer Philip Nanton in conversation with musician Ruth Osman. With readings from and discussion of Nanton’s new book Riff: The Shake Keane Story, and the premiere of a new musical collaboration with Gene Lawrence, setting Keane’s Volcano Suite to music.
