Children are your toughest critics – creating captivating page turners that hold their interest can be challenging. This three part workshop features award winning children’s authors Carol Mitchell, Jeunanne Alkins and Tracey Baptiste, with special focus on developing plot and character, writing fantasy and design and illustration. Get familiar with exploring the narrative structures of writing fantasy fiction for 6-12 year olds. Explore your inner child and imagination to produce engrossing children’s books, combining careful design elements with your scripts that bring your characters to life. Feedback provided after each session.
