2019 Festival

In the 9th year of the NGC Bocas Lit Fest we return with another action-packed programme of over 100 events. The Festival schedule will be available to view or download on 27 March 2019.


Venue
Daytime events will take place mainly in the National Library and Old Fire Station on Abercromby Street and Hart Street, Port of Spain, and are free of charge. Evening events take place at venues around the city!

Booksellers & Vendors
Books by participating authors and others will be on sale from official booksellers on the ground floor of the Library. If you are interested in being a vendor at the 2019 NGC Bocas Lit Fest, please email us at info@bocaslitfest.com to request our vendor registration form by 28 February 2019.

Programme
The full festival programme will go live at our media launch on Wednesday 27 March 2019. As usual, the programme includes workshops (which require pre-registration), readings, panel discussions, film screenings, open mic and more. Our line-up of writers and performers is already set, but writers interested in reading at the festival can sign up to be part of our open mic series. NGC Children’s Bocas Lit Fest
The NGC Children’s Bocas Lit Fest Storytelling Caravan will start in Tobago on 6th April and continue every Saturday at locations around Trinidad and Tobago until 4th May. Children’s events for school children and the public take place at City Hall on Tuesday 30 April, and in the Children’s Library on the ground floor of the National Library from Wednesday 1 to Sunday 5 May. Teachers and principals – if you would like your students between ages of 7 and 13 to attend events at our children’s festival, contact storytelling@bocaslitfest.com to book a session.
