More Than A Literary Festival

From 2011 to 2013, the NGC Bocas Lit Fest invited an artist to create an original limited edition work of art. The first numbered piece in the edition becomes part of the unique Collection of Festival Art of the National Museum and Art Gallery, the sponsor of the work.

The works in the Collection of Festival Art at the National Museum and Art Gallery are:  Lapeyrouse Wall, by Peter Doig; Cobo, by Eddie Bowen; Now Showing, by Christopher Cozier; Give and Take, by Chris Ofili;   Mercury, by Nikolai Noel; and Transmission by Wendy Nanan.

Give and Take, by Chris Ofili,  Mercury, by Nikolai Noel, and Transmission by Wendy Nanan still available for sale at TT$3,000. Funds raised from the sale of the signed, numbered works go to the NGC Bocas Lit Fest, which is entirely funded by sponsorship.

And marking 10 years of the Bocas Lit Fest, our anniversary poster depicts Jackie Hinkson’s specially commissioned drawing of the iconic Old Fire Station in downtown Port of Spain, buttressed by the National Library, the home of the NGC Bocas Lit Fest. 100 numbered, signed copies of this collectible poster are available at TT$300.00.

You can purchase with online payment from our website shop – we’ll be in touch within 2 working days to confirm availability, payment and collection of your limited edition collectible! Unfortunately, we can’t facilitate shipping or delivery of these fragile, valuable works of art at this time, but you can collect at The Writers Centre, #14 Alcazar Street, St. Clair.
