Biography

With 17 years of dedicated experience teaching at the secondary level, Mrs. Charlene Joseph- Holmes believes that successful students become successful adults. She currently teaches English

Language, English Literature, Literatures in English, and Communication Studies to students from Forms 1 through 6.

Teaching is more than a profession for Mrs. Joseph-Holmes; it is a passion. She takes pride in the progress of her students and finds deep fulfilment in watching them grow, achieve, and excel. Her distinctive style of teaching, marked by creativity and clarity, has helped many students become confident and competent in their studies.

One of her proudest accomplishments came in 2024, when one of her Form 6 students placed 3rd regionally in the CAPE Literatures in English exam, an achievement that highlights her commitment to academic excellence.

Mrs. Joseph-Holmes is known not only for her skill and expertise but also for her unwavering support towards her students. She is always ready to “put her shoulder to the wheel” to ensure her students thrive and she is committed to helping each learner develop strong critical thinking skills and mastery in the field of English.
