Nicole Roberts is a Senior Lecturer in Spanish at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. She is also a translator. She has published widely on race and ethnicity in the Hispanic Caribbean, and also on Hispanic-Caribbean literature, language and culture. Her most recent publication is the edited volume: Trinidad y Tobago/Cuba: Historia, Lengua y Literatura (2018) co-edited with Armando GarcÃa de la Torre and Mauricio Núñez RodrÃguez.
