Désha A. Osborne is an adjunct assistant professor at Queens College and Hunter College, CUNY. She completed her PhD in English at the University of Cambridge, where her research was a full-length study of Hiroona, the epic 19th-century poem by Horatio Nelson Huggins. The first critical edition was published in 2015 by the University of the West Indies Press.
