David Sammy

David Sammy began a theatre career at Naparima College, winning acting awards at the Secondary Schools Drama Festival; also NDATT awards in 1983, 1985. Has participated in Best Village and SanFest. He is South’s reigning King of Jouvert 2013, 2014, and a member of the San Fernando Theatre Workshop since 1978. His credits include radio drama, television and film work. He was principal of Tableland Secondary School.
