Jillian Carreira

Jillian Carreira was born in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago. She has obtained a Degree in Literature and Minor in Linguistics from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad. During her pursuit she received an Award of Excellence from the American Prose lecturer. Jillian presently teaches at a private school in Port of Spain, Trinidad and recently acquired a Masters in Education from the University of Framingham, USA. Writing has always been something Jillian has been passionate about; the freedom of expressing oneself through creative writing has always impressed upon her mind and soul. Her first book Dragon Boyz was a collaborated piece she did with her son and she has the intention of writing the other 2 of the 3 part series Dragon Boyz.
