Legna Rodríguez Iglesias (Camagüey, Cuba, 1984) received the Premio Iberoamericano de Cuentos Julio Cortázar in 2011, and she was the recipient of the Casa de las Américas award in Theatre (2016) for the play Si esto es una tragedia yo soy una bicicleta. In 2016 she also received the Paz Prize, from The National Poetry Series, Miami Century Fox (Akashic Books, 2017). She is the author of various other poetry collections, including Transtucé (Editorial Casa Vacía, 2017); Hilo+Hilo (Editorial Bokeh, 2015); Dame Spray (Hypermedia Ediciones, 2016); and the bilingual edition of Chicle (ahora es cuando) (Editorial Letras Cubanas, 2016). Her published fiction includes the novels Mi novia preferida fue un bulldog francés (Editorial Alfaguara, 2017); Las analfabetas (Editorial Bokeh, 2015); and Mayonesa bien brillante (Hypermedia Ediciones, 2015). She has also published two short story collections: No sabe/no contesta (Ediciones La Palma, 2015) and La mujer que compró 388 el mundo (Editorial Los Libros de la Mujer Rota, 2017). Ediciones Aguadulce published her book of poetry for children, Todo sobre papá, in 2016.
