Lorna Goodison
2018 Windham-Campbell Prize Winner, Fiction / Poet Laureate of Jamaica
Lorna Goodison has received many honours, including a 2018 Windham-Campbell Prize for fiction, Jamaica’s Musgrave Medal (1999), and the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (1987). She is Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan, where she was the Lemuel A. Johnson Professor of English and African and Afro American Studies. Her many books include her Collected Poems, published in 2017.
