Olufunmilayo Oyesanya-Ryan was born in Trinidad and Tobago to a Nigerian-American mother and a Trinidadian father. She is a secondary school student who enjoys family, volunteering, extracurricular activities, and reading avidly. Her favorite genre of books is psychological thrillers.  She believes that extracurricular activities are of grave importance as they allow for a well-rounded student. She is involved in team sports such as volleyball and basketball.

Her mother, the founder of Network for Good, instills the value of giving. Since primary school, she has been volunteering at the Living Water Community and continues to do so. Her involvement at the YMCA of Trinidad and Tobago gave her the opportunity to volunteer at their vacation camp and special events. Olufunmilayo looks forward to attending college to further her studies, continuing community work, and the future that lies ahead.
