Stephanie Koathes

Stephanie Koathes writes: “I’ve always loved books and writing stories, much to the consternation of my family who’ve had to listen to fragments of everything I’ve ever written. For the last few years, I’ve worked in advertising as a copywriter while creating stories in my spare time. I’ve always hesitated to call myself a ‘writer’ — a real one — because I have not been published, but that is what I am at heart, and what I want to make my life. My primary genre is fantasy; these books have always provided an escape into new worlds and that is what I want to create for others.” She is a 2024 Bocas Breaththrough Fellow.
